Suburban White Women- the rising political power

First, I am skeptical of the narrative that this group broke hard for Biden in the last election— it certainly doesn’t hold true in my suburban neighborhood (except for those that would vote for a pile of my dog’s turds over any R).
That said, IF they truly did vote Biden once, he may have pissed off one of the biggest movements in current political circles: the school board mamas with his “kids don’t belong to you when in school” comments this past week LINK
The mama bears are roaring at school boards across the country. Virginia voted in Youngkin over this kind of drek of schools “knowing what’s best” over the parents.
Normally a low information voter, I think these suburban white women are waking up to what unchecked progressive filth means to their child’s education.

The suburban white women that I know spend inordinate amounts of time on social media. Also, they are extremely driven by emotion and empathy. They completely buy into trump is a racist, kids in cages, Black Lives Matter, Pride Month, if it saves just one life, stand with Ukraine narratives. Their white guilt and fear of being called a racist makes them want to stand with any of these “virtuous” narratives. Think of Drew Brees wife.. “we are the problem”.
Obviously, not true if all women. My wife, mom, and sisters are about as vocally conservative as you can get. And like you said you have the mama bears who come out to fight for their kids. So hopefully the Democrats trying to force crap on kids will be too much for some suburban women.

Only a small slice but I can tell you that at our corporate office (Fortune 500 company based in Houston) all of the ladies I know well (probably a dozen or so) except one were voting Biden. They detested Trump. And not all of his policies. Him personally. And these are college educated, smart successful women.

Unfortunately that number is way way hirer than many people think.
They was a bad rumor going around with the elderly that Trump was going to take social security.

I’m in Lilly white suburban Philly and I can promise you the college educated women’s worst nightmare here is to be called or perceived being a racist for any reason. They are hard core blue and vote against their own well being. Now with that said, don’t no black boy come walking around their neighborhood or an anonymous call to the popo coming in to come make sure home boy is on the up and up. And from talking with some of them (who have actually never met any black folks outside of maybe one or two who were raised in white neighborhoods) and it’s all about the subtle racism of low expectations. They think of them as third class citizens who just don’t know no better because of white supremacy.
