The whole "strength in diversity" is bullshite.

Strength is in unity.

Everyone is diverse. Everyone.

Again, my IRL conversation with a co-worker years ago. She was an educated left wing Jewish lady from NYC transplanted to La.

Me: 'So, I saw on channel 3 yesterday that the motto of your committee is that Diversity is our Strength.'
Her: 'Yes.'
Me: 'Why?'
Her: 'Because we are a diverse nation.'
Me: 'That's a statement of condition. Not an assessment of benefit.'
Her: 'All nations derive their strength from their diversity.'
Me: 'So, Japan is the weakest nation in the world?'
Her: 'I don't want to talk about it anymore.'
She left.

It's a left wing talking point to import more voters.

I don’t have a problem with diversity, until it’s forced upon me for no other purpose than to feel good about it.

There is strength in diversity, but it's diversity of thought. Making people question and rethink and address opposing viewpoints to ultimately reach the proper or more accurate conclusion/goal.

Diversity of skin color is meaningless.

I kinda look at it like this website in general. There's a wealth of knowledge that gets pooled here and it's pretty interesting to see how that aggregation can figure things out. But race, sex, etc has nothing to do with it

Reads exactly like one of those goofy chain emails from 2003.

Given the societal traits associated with skin color I don’t think it is meaningless.

I don’t think it is a strength, but it has an impact.

A racially homogeneous culture is more likely to be a strength as there is no innate conflict for people to seize upon. See the Japanese. Diversity , on the other hand has to be overcome . Diversity Can become a strength if everyone is on the same page, but only if done through a process of assimilation and not group identity.

Should have asked her about Yugoslavia and Rwanda. How well did diversity work out in those places?

Yes, total bullshite. It's a poisonous idea that literally just means "we need fewer white people around here".

Whenever I hear this shite I always ask...Why?

What makes diversity good? Do diverse groups do better at things? Does a diverse group of engineers produce a better product than say an all white male group of engineers? Does a diverse basketball team win more than an all black basketball team?

Beyond the diversity thing, when I just hear a company say our strength or reason for success is 'our people', I just roll my eyes. Everyone has people that they think are the best. Unless you have Steve Jobs in the back, this is a stupid answer and tells me a lot about the leadership of the company.

Yep, seems a prudent question, but we both know that it's just an anti white meme. There is only one form of diversity they push: more non-whites, less white men.
