This was the promise that was made for them to do it.
Cuomo, Newsom, Whittmer, etc. are authoritarians, to be sure, but they are also politicians and knew there was a potentially huge political price to pay. This is their reward.

This was so predictable the way the entire year went down. I remember telling people in March that covid will be used as a racket to shore up pension liabilities. Here we are 1 year later. The funny thing is the politicians and our major economic institutions needed covid after Q4 2018. There's no reason to follow this stuff anymore. You will always get more of the same. We live in the matrix.

Sure the money will get added to the billion sitting around to fix all the pot holes and sunken streets all around the block and to drain the rain instead of having 12 inch + floods every single time it rains more than 15 minutes too.
Or maybe to hire another 200+ cops making $100,000 to $300,000/year or Teedy secretaries at $140,000/year
