Chrissy asked him three times and he answered this way:

WALLACE: So you think the election was -- stolen?

SCALISE: What I said is there are states that didn't follow their legislatively set rules. That's what the United States Constitution says. And I think there are a lot of people that want us to get back to what the Constitution says we should be doing. Not just with elections, but a lot of other things, too.

And there are some people that want to just ignore what the Constitution says and do their own thing. You know, that's been a debate that’s been going on in this country for a long time.

Some SoS's simply violated their state's election law by changing rules without legislative approval. Those states should not have been certified.

Show me one video where Scalise has the balls to say the election was stolen? He wins elections by telling you morons guns good/abortions bad. Then he goes back to DC

Scalise balked at answering Wallace's question. Does he think the election was stolen? It's a "yes" or "no" answer.

Well, he didn't say it was a legitimate election. His non answer 3 times to a yes or no question is telling. The narrative is the election was NOT stolen. Scalise didn't agree with that.

Then why not say "It was stolen and we will not stand for it". Surely his base would support that. So why not say it?

Repeat a lie enough times, and some people will believe it.

But it is still a lie.

I'm sure he's run a cost/benefit analysis as to his public approach on this and for whatever reason concluded this approach. And I'm not necessarily saying I agree, but there's probably more to it than we think of on the spot.

I know that's "sinful" to suggest, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I have to do so if I'm giving, say, Desantis the benefit of the doubt in that same way because to my knowledge he hasn't necessarily come right out and said the election was stolen, in no uncertain terms. And I won't question his motives on that, but will instead trust his judgment.

Why give those A holes something to talk about, or soundbites for their campaigns? Stick to the facts, which is what he did. It's an opinion of whether or not it was stolen, there's no denying the facts.

But I do get your point.

So don't say the election was fraudulent because the Republicans have some grand plan haha? You people never learn. Scalise is getting rich as hell in DC. He does not care. There is your answer.

Nope, I did not say anything about a "grand plan" on the part of Republicans. In fact, I would more assume that each individual's choice in approach is based on their own situation.

How did he wuss out? He answered the question that piece of shite Wallace kept repeating it over and over because he didn't get the answer he was fishing for. The only thing Scalise did wrong was the way he answered. He should have been more clear and said. I cannot 100% answer if the election was stolen or not stolen. Because of the fact that some states didn't follow their own laws that were on the books and allowed longer voting periods of absentee voting and mail in voting that were against laws that were on the books in these certain states. Then the legislatures of these states certified these elections that were conducted under conditions that were not consistent with the rules set by these same legislatures in these states. Based upon this cannot tell you 100% if these elections were honest or not.

Steve's words ring true....pissed off Liz Cheney.

Millions of Americans have been sold a fraud that the election was stolen. Republicans have a duty to tell the American people that this is not true. Perpetuating the Big Lie is an attack on the core of our constitutional republic. LINK

Again, why didn't he say "yes I think it was a stolen election"? From a political perspective it is a win win for him with his base. Why didn't he say it? Everything else you posted is just BS political speak.
