this weeks plunge in the stock market is driven by the specter of the corona virus. it will be about 6 weeks before folks realize the damage to the economy.

following the twin tower attacks a similar drop occurred that caused the fed govt to encourage going to restaurants , theatre, airline travel , etc to get people to spend money and put people back to work and have the economy recover.

can't encourage folks to congregate for the next six weeks because of flu spread. a lot of pressure to be put on trump to misfire by normalizing too early.

until the normalization occurs, stock market will have a lot of risk.

Six weeks exactly? Not 5 1/2 weeks or 7 weeks?

Now compare it to bird flu, ebola, swine flu, etc.

In 6 weeks, the markets will be back to pushing 30k. Comparing the deadliest terrorist attack in American history to a virus that only two Americans have caught on American soil is intellectually dishonest.

And worldwide, there are three illnesses affecting and killing more people than coronavirus.

The media is doing everything they can to get clicks/sell ads/stop Trump. Pick one.

Comparing 9/11 to liberal media scare tactics? People know this is fake news.

Start buying when the mother frickers on TV tell you to wait, because that's when the mother frickers are buying.

Did you account for February 29? Remember, this is leap year.

This. Saw at least 2 or 3 talking heads today celebrating that all their "dry powder" clients were finally getting a chance to jump back in. Of course, they were all downplaying that now is the time.
