SEOUL, South Korea — President Moon Jae-in of South Korea warned on Wednesday that North Korea would face stiffer sanctions if it resumed weapons tests, while crediting President Trump with helping force the North to resume dialogue and strike a broader agreement to improve Korean ties.
“I am giving a lot of credit to President Trump,” Mr. Moon said at a nationally televised news conference a day after the two Koreas forged their agreement during border talks. “I am expressing my gratitude.”
The White House said that Mr. Trump and Mr. Moon had spoken and “underscored the importance of continuing the maximum pressure campaign against North Korea,” adding that Mr. Trump “expressed his openness to holding talks between the United States and North Korea at the appropriate time, under the right circumstances.”

This guy has to be a liar, everyone knows Trump was begging for a nuke shooting war.

I watched a new show about NK on Nat Geo the other day and it was basically saying that Trump has completely botched NK and leading us into all out war. It's a brand new show and it already hasn't aged well.

CNN will somehow forget to cover this but they won't be alone. The silence will be deafening.
I'm glad they are talking. We should support that.

Just view it as a work of fiction, like the nightly news.

Proggies haven't figured out how to handle this cat yet. He's a far left liberal but loves Trump.
They haven't figured out how to spin that one yet.

How can he be credited for these talks when he drinks Diet Coke and eats McDonalds?

I hope this is the beginning of NK and SK reconciling differences. I don’t expect full reconciliation however it’s a step in the right direction. This is might be the best way for NK to stop the jackassary and simultaneously politically save face internally.

Trump might drink a lot of Diet Coke however I doubt he eats a lot of McDonalds. Maybe two or three times a year for photo ops. I bet he eats a lot of top quality beef and dairy which is fortified with vitamin K2 which is essential for cardiovascular health. Normal Americans don’t eat top quality beef and dairy.

Anyone remember the pic of Anwar Sadat, Jimmy Carter, and Menachem Begin?
The media would commit mass suicide if there's a peace pact and a pic of Trump, Moon Jae-in & Un.

It’s a starting point.
These countries marching together at the Olympics has happened several times so this isn’t big news you’ll see the WH touting.
Credit the WH for realizing this isn’t a breakthrough I actually think the NYTimes was trying to bait Trump into boasting about this ‘accomplishment’
Good for you Mr.Trump for not taking the bait

North Korea may be talking but we shouldn't be fooled by it a they have used these talks in the past before to receive the pressure and then they'll be back to their old ways.
We need to sustain the pressure on them and keep it up. It's the only thing they understand.

Trump just called Kim's bluff. For decades presidents just paid him billions in aid to keep him quiet. Kim upped his rhetoric and did those tests hoping Trump would cave. Trump didn't. Reality is Kim is smart enough to know he would be dead within hours if he attacked the US.
So his only option now is to retreat and end his nuclear program to get sanctions loosened

As long as you are comfortable I'm happy.

So much for that unbiased media.

If this had happen during Obama’s term, the media would be talking about it 24/7 and libs would be parading in the streets.
