South Africa: Estimate % of Sellers Selling in Order to Emigrate per First National Bank

Economic & Brain drain amoung not just white South Africans but also wealthy black south Africans are getting out of the country. I don't care how you slice it when any country loses an estimated 1 million highly skilled professionals to emigration to other countries (stats as of 2016) and you have filled those 1 million highly skilled people with TWO million untrained & uneducated migrants from shite holes across Africa with another 1 million projected to move to South Africa over the next 3 years that you have a problem.
The demise of South Africa hasn't even hit yet but I can tell you this it is going to happen and its going to happen with swiftness. The first sign is when the educated just walk away from their homes and I suspect that will be within the next 5 years given the direction this place is headed. Open Borders has had catastrophic consequences in Zimbabwe and now in South Africa.
While estimated selling in order to semigrate has subsided sharply in recent quarters, the trend towards selling in order to emigrate has increased.
This is according to FNB property sector strategist, John Loos, who said that the country’s major metro regions’ are seeing a broad rising trend.
Approximately 8% of total sellers in Gauteng said they were selling to emigrate, 9.57% in Cape Town and 10.64% in Ethekwini.
Loos said it is notable that while the semigration rate in Cape Town has slowed sharply, the emigration rate has not.
BusinessTech recently reported that a number of Johannesburg residents were simply leaving their homes empty as they emigrate – with the hopes of selling the property at a later date.
Real estate agents from the area said that this was likely due to a combination of factors – including a desire to leave the country, but being hamstrung by the fact that it is a buyer’s market and they had difficulty selling.
Countries including the UK, New Zealand and Australia are popular destinations for skilled South Africans looking for an opportunity to further their careers, or create new beginnings for their family, particularly as South Africa’s economy shows no sign of improving in the near term.
American think tank, Pew Research, recently released a report on the origins and destinations of the world’s migrants from 1990-2017. When looking at South Africa’s data, Pew Research found that at least 900,000 people born in South Africa were currently living in other countries in 2017.
For these South Africans the United Kingdom was the destination of choice, with 210,000 migrants as of 2017.
However, it was closely followed by Australia (190,000) and other popular countries including the USA (100,000) and New Zealand (60,000).

Any and all, educated white or black South Africans are welcome in the US, specifically the South and Midwest. Make it happen Trump, let any educated black South Africans into the US and watch liberals heads explode

It will be really really bad, so many natural resources and so many different factions based on race, religion, ethnicity, and regional groups that there could be massive civil war and upheaval. I lived there and studied African politics in undergrad and it was talked about as the most frightening possibility of what could happen if West African upheaval happened in other parts of the continent. You have multiple countries around it that would be licking there chops, as well as China would swoop in like they have done with about 20 other countries and completely take over.

No you don't. South Africa is one of the most important strategic positions in the World. If it goes south you can damn well guarantee that it will cause two things: (1) the West will send in the military and go to town and kill hundreds of thousands or China will go to town and kill millions and (2) the emigration both legal and illegal will hit the United States and other western countries only this time it won't be their best and brightest.
UK, US, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Japan, and Italy can't afford to lose this country as a shipping & military hub to China which is what will happen nor can they afford the economic destruction with all the assets they have interests in.

Again this is a falsehood that is being reported and taken and ran with by both liberals and conservatives that is not happening in the major european cities, now economic murder is happening before there very eyes and they are seeing the writing on the wall before it is too late. Australia will be the main foreign country for emigration, the UK is not necessarily a "foreign" country to many of these people especially in Johannesburg and CapeTown. Pretoria and Port Elizabeth would be the first cities to see massive true political revolt and upheaval, especially Pretoria, likely see a southeast asian type of situation.

Okay first off not trying to sound like a know it all, but since I do have a unique life experience and greater understanding on South Africa than 99% of American explain it the best I can.
While yes, GNP is a much greater metric than simple GDP for South Africa than any African country because of its foreign investment but historically and currently, it only tells a partial story. What a takeover likely by China would mean both strategically and symbolically cannot be simply measured in GNP. Obviously you using that term GNP and not GDP I know you are well informed. South Africa's geographical location as a both a the water and rail and financial hub of not just the southern part of the continent would be huge to China's other investments that that have taken over in the rest of the continent. They literally have colonized upwards of 20 countries already but what it would mean would be the takeover of there first truly developing country/semi industrialized not just a third world resource rich collection of tribes and rebels.
The importance of South Africa to the rest of the African continent because of what has happened to Egypt in the last 25 years cannot be understated to the Western world. That is why South Africa means so much more than there GNP. Who the foreign investment is to the GNP part of the equation is of chief importance not just what the GNP is. To understand South Africa you have to understand the goals of China and the West on a global scale. Not saying you do not just giving my reasoning hope my babbling is not incoherent

Here are some stats that will boggle your mind about South Africa:
- The Government report unemployment rate is 38% but most economist believe it is really over 50% since the government has been proven to provide misleading data.
- The is a greater than 1 to 5 ratio of people that pay taxes as compared to people who don’t but live off of government entitlement programs.
- There is a law the decrees that your work force must be near identical in demographics to the national demographics. Thus, only 8% of a workforce (and trending further down) can be “white”. So highly trained “white” professionals had to be fired without any way to replace them. This has decimated their infrastructure.
Long story short, South Africa is not circling the drain it is already down the drain and nobody is talking about it.

A lot of the SA farmers have moved to Russia because there is a lot of under developed farm land there and Russia put them on the fast tract to immigration.
Maybe Mueller will investigate Trump's involvement in that.

No offense but you are truly naive if you think these murders are nothing more than "Economic Murders". The leader of the EEF Julius Malema told his own reporters he was "not calling for the slaughter of white people, at least for now." How does that sound economic to you?
Clarification from my post above: I misquoted myself above since 1990 there have been over 4 million immigrants (not 2 million) from Mozambique, Malawi, Kenya, Sudan, Congo, Zimbabwe, and Liberia who have moved to South. Africa.

3,446 African Americans were lynched in the US between 1882 and 1968. That's about 40/yr.

The police’s Norman Sekhukhune told Parliament that 62 murders were recorded in total over 2017/18 during 58 attacks on South African farms or smallholdings. Ten of those killed were farmworkers or managers, and 52 were the owners or occupiers of the land.
