Some on this board are always saying that the left is unified unlike the right.

Here is a question that a lefty asked a left-center substacker
In my opinion, about half the left wing voters align with this guy. But they are the least vocal, so it doesn’t seem like they are that plentiful. They are getting disgusted with some of the same stuff we find ridiculous.
Another reason I posted it is because it’s kind of funny.

I’m a Common Sense Dem at the end of my tether. I split my time between DC, with an incoming socialist mayor, and Ann Arbor MI, where socialists are seeking to unseat the local government that has (as noted in a recent mailbag) finally started building here. Everyone knows about the Senate race ??. Many/most youngs I know are self-described socialists with little/no understanding of what that means in historic terms, and the overwhelming majority of my fellow olds are Heather Cox Richardsonians. Virtually every social gathering I attend features someone making a glib, ignorant complaint about data centers. A “swing dancing in the park” event I attended a few days ago started out with pronouns and cultural appropriation and never made it to demonstrating actual dance steps. Things seem to somehow get worse and worse.

Fetterman is the only one that really split away from the communists dressed as fruity socialists...maybe. He may be doing it because he goes on the ground in PA and knows MAGA rules.
As Dems say 'at the end of the day' ---I think the Dems are less in thinking outside the box, and will go along like sheep to pronoun meetings.

Don't let pretty girls blow sweet nothings in your ear. He talks a nice game, but he's still votes lock in step with them.

They're not as united as they have been in the past with AOC & ever expanding squad.
I want the socialist democrats to accumulate. None of the things on their platform will ever see the light of day except for mostly failed experiments in certain municipalities.
But hey if you want to be a communist and take part in collectivism, move to the mega cities. Enjoy.

They are, but they have heads made of bedrock because they can't seem to grasp that their traditional rhetorical ground of identity politics is the primary enabling factor. As such, they are highly likely to continue doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results (definition of insanity).
Example: Bill Maher has mentioned many things the Newsom administration has pushed which he disagrees with, but he has still publicly supported the guy (no idea where he stands currently), this has been while the center of the Democratic party has moved deeper into its leftward fringe.
Until they can break from that cycle of their emotional reasoning overriding their rational reasoning when viewing an issue, they are either going to keep voting party lines (on both candidates and legislation) or not showing up to vote at all. That latter aspect is the better one as the party's strident move into its hypocritically fascist fringe areas essentially dilutes their voting power through the silent attrition of growing non-involvement.

The Left has moved so far into their fringe that it has equal chance of being a Bee or Not The Bee story.

Not in lockstep, no! He will not vote to pack SCOTUS or nuke the filibuster.

Most of these people have no real life experience and they have been brainwashed throughout school. They think that the reason they can't get ahead is because of "rich" people. Rich people create jobs and just because someone has more money than you does not mean you can't make more money unless they give it you you. It's called growing wealth. People can do better without someone else's condition getting worse.
This always holds true: Socialism sounds good until you run out of the other person's money.

For the past 50 years they have been much more unified than the GOP. But this year is totally different. I've been getting their fundraiser propaganda for almost 20 years and this is the first time they are attacking other democrat encumbents running for reelection.

Same loons going gaga over the Taylor/Travis nuptials are the ones wanting to eat the rich.
Security and traffic control will cost NYC a pretty penny for them to be happily linked in matrimony, when truthfully they should’ve just saved money and got hitched on a beach at sunset.

has never been true
Obama derailed Hillary fromtyhe left. Then they were angry at Obama for his Wallstreet bail outs and Obama care missing a few policies they wanted
Bernie and the far left nearly derailed Hillary in 2016 and Biden in 2020
Trump is the kingmaker of the GOP. They are far more unified.

I don't think either party is unified. I also don't think that the politicians that represent their constituencies are anything like the people that voted for them.

Both parties are trash. Neither party serves the American electorate. The left is more dangerous.

Corporate and foreign interests are the top 2 priorities. The American people are a distant 3rd if we've even in 3rd.

It's a paid Substack. And it really wasn't an article. He has his usual articles, and then he does an issue where he answers questions. That was a question from someone. I posted 90% of it.

Let me break it down for you. Both parties are full of people going to hell.
The Left is just a lot more blatant about their demonic policies. It’s run roughshod.

In the USA, corporations control the politicians.

They’ll complain, and then all vote exactly the same way. Exactly. In the general elections, and in Congress.
