Attorney General issues advisory over religious, medical exemptions for COVID-19 vaccine….

Every co-signer on this bill are heavy-hitters and includes the head of the House Ways & Means Education Budget Committee and the head of the Education Trust Fund appropriations committee chair. The message being sent here is that following this path puts state funding in play.

The UA system (UAT, UAB, UAH) receives $580 +/- million in state funds while Auburn’s main & Montgomery campus receives $200 +/- million in State funds. I hope this is not a bluff and Alabama legislators follow through on this threat to defund the schools.

Are Auburn and Alabama going to be state institutions that serves the needs of it’s citizens or Federal institutions that serves the needs of the Deep State? If the latter, defund the bastards and let them suck exclusively on the Federal teat.

My wife works at AUM and is not getting the vaccine, she is also breastfeeding our 8 month old son. Steve Marshall is fighting the fight for my wife and many others like her. The last week’s been stressful but it’s good to know their office will accommodate denied exemptions to try and get a job at another university.

I appreciate it, just been trying our best to trust God that He’ll ultimately work something out. She and her boss are the only ones who haven’t taken it in her office. Her boss has the fortune of being able to retire if he needs to, but she doesn’t. My wife’s boss’s boss even offered her a raise two days ago and claimed it wasn’t because of the vaccine….

Do you happen to know if there is any organized resistance from faculty and staff members who don’t want to be forced to comply? I teach at UA, and so far it has been hard to find like minded people, though I am sure there are many of us. I wonder if people from both campus systems could organize together to make our voices heard.

I haven’t heard anything personally, it seems like the non vaxxed people at AUM either A keep quiet about not being vaxxed or B went ahead and got vaxxed for fear of being fired.

What’s interesting is my wife is over all work study students at AUM and she still has yet to hear back from HR pertaining to them since the stuff from Steve Marshall has started coming out this week. Made her wonder if any leeway is being made.

So glad you and your wife are holding strong for your son and the rest of us.

There is too many of us to just let this shite slide. We could crumble their utopia by just putting our foot down and say no more.

Considering over 50% of ua's students are from out of state, are they really doing this now.

At UA, They said they would send out more info for those who would request exemptions, but that has yet to happen and the timing for getting the first shot and being fully vaccinated by December 8 was yesterday for Pfizer, The Moderna is sometime next week, and the J&J one is Thanksgiving week. I’m assuming they are planning a blanket NO for all exemptions as there is no way they’ll be able to give consideration to each case.

A little bird told me that the University of Alabama just released their COVID-1984 Exemptions requirements today (10-29) on the University’s faculty portal. The date to turn in exemption considerations is Nov. 12th.

This is true. Sent out an email on a Friday afternoon at 2 PM while we are on Fall break. Technically is is worded that exemption requests are recommended to be submitted by the 12th so that they can be Adequately reviewed.

You probably already know this if you teach at a major college, but 90% or more of the profs are going to be leftist loons. Good luck trying to find others like you who think critically, and for themselves.
