SCOTUS nominees in the future to get enough votes.

everything is accessible these days...text, FB, tweets and photos on phones..

We just witnessed what a year book will do to somebody 36 years ago, think about what's gonna happen to someone with 30 years of using smart phones and all these apps.

"What did you mean in this tweet?"

Thoughts?

Been saying this for years. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when kids that grew up in the digital age start trying to run for these elected positions.

Yet you can make allegations against someone with virtually no social media history attributed to you..

Thoughts? Social Media for personal use is fools gold. Use it for business/marketing only. Problem solved.

It will be a nightmare, and if you were somewhat private and discretionary in your social media usage, you will likely be labeled as too introverted to hold public office. New guidelines must be developed, or we will have no one 'qualified' (or willing) to hold any important position. At any level. Anywhere.

I don't think anyone should use any social media that is tied to their real identify. Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Stick to anonymous screennames on forums like this, that don't require a phone number or other personal identifiers to make an account.

Was talking about this with a friend. It’s going to be bad for any politician, judge, etc. when they pull your social media history. Not only what you posted but what you liked, who you friended etc. What will be worse than that is texting. Imagine all the men who have groups of friends that they have a group text with, that joke around all day. One screen shot from that would end their career in politics.
