Not be Donald trump. If you are still on the fence you are voting with emotion and not logic and our only hang up is that you either want more government hand outs or you want less Donald trump. That’s it.

He needs to answer the question with 1-2 sentences, then pivot to Biden being compromised by Russia, China, and Ukraine due to payments to his family.

Correct and that is part of the persuasion process. A solid performance can be the difference in some voters staying home and enthusiastically going to the polls.
It's ridiculous that it comes to that, but we need the stupid voters to pull the lever too.

Unfortunately, he's not in a good spot. He's got to fend off an overly aggressive moderator far more than Biden while Biden will just be allowed to sit there, field lazy ground balls, and not answer questions.

He can really use this to his favor since it is going to be a big debate topic.
List his accomplishments. Unemployment rates, opportunity zones, HBC support, the 500B stimulus to black business, criminal justice reform. Wrap it up with noting that the BET founder supports him for what he's done for black business and Van Jones applauded him for the criminal justice reform. He can even be his self and finish with, "I suppose Van Jones and the BET founder are racists now. The dems offer words. I offer results."
