So the mass shootings are Pres Trump fault over his tone etc?

Help me understand this. According to a few Dems that I can tolerate to be around. The recent mass shootings are Pres Trumps fault because who he condemns, attacks (their words), or generally spews hate in his speeches. So when I asked about the mass shootings that happened under Pres Obama and were they his fault? Response “no because Republicans” controlled the House?
Is that the argument?

The "argument" is literally "orange man bad."
All "logic" is figured backwards from this predetermined conclusion by leftists. Any attempt to equate with similar happenings relating to leftist heroes will be rebuffed with "RACIST!"

No I do not think Trump’s words cause the shootings. I don’t think his verbiage is helpful as it can play into and justify pre-existing anger and paranoia. And the same can be said for the verbiage of members of my own party.
Both sides would do well to study the relationship between President Reagan and Speaker Tip O’Neill.

I know asking a liberal to use logic is about like asking a dog not to lick his balls, but if there were shootings without Trump’s rhetoric, meaning that the shootings occur regardless of the words of the President, you cannot therefore logically blame Trump for the shootings.
