Why would she withhold information from the Senate Judiciary Committee if this was done as a result of some sense of civic duty????

Because 99% of her testimony was based on not remembering details. She can always suddenly remember some new detail whether true or not that would necessitate investigating.
She is no longer under Oath, what comes out of her mouth from here on out can be total fabrication.

Yep. Hopefully this backfires on the left bigly and the FBI uncovers a whole bunch of shady business and payoffs that can completely sink the Dems. For starters, what was in the envelope and why of all people was Sheila Jackson Lee the one in possession of it when she's not Mrs. Ford's congressional rep and should have no role in the confirmation hearings considering she isn't even a senator.
