So, the blood in the streets cuts to Medicaid
that Democrats are screaming about are really just reductions in growth.

Typical Washington bull shite lies.

Need to be real cuts.

NY state is supposedly looking at free state healthcare for everyone (including illegals), like CA has recently talked about.

Let them do it with no help from the gubment and see how well it works.

Won't last two years.

CA is 1.8 trillion in debt and NY is 63 billion in debt.

CA single payer actually passed their state congress, but then whoever has the power to do so essentially put it on the back burner and wouldn't allow it to come to fruition because of to many "unknowns," including financing it.

I'm all for states rights, so let them do whatever they want to, however I think the federal govt should not give ANY federal funds to a state whose operating in the red, period!

Compared to the money that Medicaid was going to receive under current law, will it receive more or less money under AHCA/BRCA?

If the answer is less (it is), that's a cut.

This will be the lasting legacy of Gen X. Paying for the sins of our predecessors (Baby Boomers).

Boomers have run this Nation into the "mother of all financial shitters" with their entitlements, credit card debt, national debt, etc. etc. etc. and they know it. Hell, many will even admit it (after the fact).

Gotta pay for those sins at some point. MAGA

Remind me again of when that occurred? Mid-60's as Baby Boomers were entering the workforce as adults?

It's only a cut if it's less than they are currently getting. If the amount they EXPECT to get in the future is reduced, that is not a cut.

Only a retarded government worker would think reductions in future growth was a cut.

Medicaid's funding levels are set by law... or by budget? Two very different paths there, pardner.

Are you talking about discretionary vs. non-discretionary?

No, it's a cut of over $800B over what they would get if the law is not passed.

All to give the wealthy a tax cut.

Oh boy, let's kill people for trickle down economics to fail again!

Who do you think's going to pay for children currently on Medicaid, or grannies who use it to pay for their assisted living?

Not your greedy immoral ass, clearly.

Who paid for it before Obamacare?

And assisted living is paid by Medicare.

Americans in a less efficient manner.

You don't have a fricking clue what you're talking about. Learn what a dual-eligible is.
