Seems like that should be pretty easy to prove, no? If true, why wasn't he arrested/fired? And if it can't be proven by documentation, who covered it up?

Where are the allegations coming from? My guess is that they've come from Shulkin's friends within the VA.
Jackson is a dumbass if he doesn't withdraw and retire. Anyone know what it's like to retire at flag rank? It's really fricking good. That's what it's like.

Sounds like more obstruction by the Democrats.

I absolutely love how the media and democrats are clambering that this guy is an alcoholic. Meanwhile their candidate of choice was drinking a bottle of wine each night on the campaign trail, hardly reported on and discussed.

VA Secretary would give him about a 25% raise over RADM and a commensurate bump in retirement pay. Maybe the pain in the arse factor wouldn't be worth it, but that's up for him to decide.
I have no idea whether the allegations are true, but it was a strange pick from a management standpoint. He's never commanded more than a few dozen people at one time, and he's nominated to head one of the largest agencies in the US government.

Bingo. He had the audacity to say that Trump wasn't mentally ill. He let everybody down when they were counting on him to keep the narrative going. So now, he must pay.
