So potential criminal extortion of a foreign govt SHOULD NOT be investigated?

Essentially that is the position of the left with regard to MAGA asking for some assistance in investigating suspicions that had to do with the former 2nd highest administration member and a foreign govt.
Let’s say MAGA did ask the Ukraines to do this with Biden and son, so freaking what? It’s not like the Ukraines were going to ask that Biden and son be expedited there to face trial. What would happen is that the Ukraines would turn over what they found and the DOJ would then review, corroborate the info, then see if there were in fact violations of US criminal or tax law.
I really see nothing wrong with this.

Of course it's within his duty to uncover and expose this. Biden is defined much more as a former vice president than he is as a candidate for the democratic nomination.
His actions as VP are much more important and he doesn't get cover because he decided to run for president.

Apparently not- because the shite left wants to impeach a president for possibly doing just that. And I might add, that he actually never really did anything except possibly bring up the possibility of an investigating what went on with Biden and son.

yes when there was no evidence of it at all. Just speculation based on nothing but he's my strongest opponent in 2020 so it'd be cool if we found something on him. But keep moving the goalposts for corrupt-in-cheif Trump. Sure it will work out for you splendidly.

It has been reported that Burisma gave Hunter Biden and the Kerry son-in-law their lucrative board position to gain access to the State Department and/or the White House. Literally pay-to-play and much more akin to bribery, a specified and defined impeachable offense, than anything Trump is accused of.
Joe later expressly conditioned the release of $1 BILLION in US aid on to fire the prosecutor who was gunning after Burisma and wanted to interview Hunter. The conditioning of the aid would have been appropriate had it not been for the conflict and what appears with the corrupt intent to, not only prevent Hunter's interview, but also to keep the gravy train rolling.
But impeach the current president for even daring to question that arrangement.
