Well... it was nice while it lasted.

I became a booster 3 years ago and have had to donate $6000 a year to UF’s booster organization. But that donation will no longer be tax deductible. Of course this would happen after I become my own season ticket holder.

So how many people will bail on being season ticket holders now? It was a nice incentive to “give.”

It seems like every personal deduction was taken away while corporations kept every single one.

Honestly calling a booster fund a charity is a stretch and a half anyways

Charity is giving without expecting anything in return.

The fact that favorable tax treatment was expected, means it was never charity in the first place.

Good - charitable donations ought to be only for things that do good for people in need.

Supporting huge stadiums so big-time football programs can better groom the next class of low-IQ future multi-millionaire kneelers.

Fund what you want out of your own pocket - don't ask the public to take a third of your cost on themselves.

It's just staggering how intellectually dishonest you Lefties are.

Why do you feel the need to do this? Are you just really insecure, so this makes you feel better to lie and live in delusion and fantasy?

Yet we wonder why we're so far in the tax hole? Speaking of deducts, didn't I read somewhere that business "lunches" would no longer be deductible? About time.

ya know - If I knew you were against something, I'd jump on that train on that basis alone.

You are absolutely wrong on every idea I have ever seen you post. You could possibly sell that service.

Oh. And your responses such classic liberal retardation

If this text Bill had added the deduction in relation to donating to booster funds you would have correctly pointed out that's such a deduction was basically a giveaway to Rich guys

But you're so ate up with hatred you can't even see it

Why would your donation not be tax deductible? Oh, right. You want your cake and to eat it, too.

My understanding is you can still deduct charitable donations. If you itemize.

It's sadder than that. The reality is he just has no fricking idea. His liberal leaders have told him these things and he's literally repeated it for as long as he's been old enough to remember

He's never actually checked it himself which is why he's so frequently post things on this board that aren't partisan wrong. They are just hilariously inaccurate.

Can you back up this shite statement? My guess is you don’t know crap about the tax code. Just a liberal blabbing his talking points like a fricking sheep.

You do realize your standard deduction will double?

ETA: and if your itemized deductions are greater than the newly doubled standard deduction you can still itemize. Whats the problem?

True - anyone ever notice that the prog/DEMs on here never propose things they want to accomplish?? All they got is allegations against conservatives and line up to OPPOSE anything a conservative proposes. They cannot put forward a positive agenda of their own, because it would be laughable stupid and irrational, and besides, if it were a good idea for the nation, conservatives would adopt it and then they'd have to oppose their own idea. !!!
