They are saving younger candidates to groom them. They are using Joe to initially get a progressive message out so it won't be so progressive in 4 years. A party rarely wins 3 terms in a row so that is a chance to get really progressive.

The DNC handpicked Biden due to internal polling throughout the Rust Belt. Then, they manipulated the Democratic primary by pulling Buttigieg, and others taking votes from Biden, right before Super Tuesday, while leaving Warren in place to pull votes from Sanders.

The DNC has effectively taken the vote away from Democrat voters. They handpicked Biden, and will handpick his replacement.

I think it's some combination of all of the above.

The Dem field was pretty shitty and had no "big names" other than Biden and maybe Sanders, at least to the casual political observer (particularly undecideds and moderates). Biden fit the "big name" as Obama's former VP and has the name recognition factor.

And to add to that, the Dem platform (or lack thereof) has really jumped far left in the last 4 years, leaving moderates and undecideds behind. This means most of the "new school" Dems are too far left for the average independent and undecided; Biden is "old school" in that regard. It was a matter of his appeal to those closer to the center but still Left.

I don't think they necessarily SET OUT to replace him at the last minute or have his VP take over shortly after his election, but they almost HAVE to be considering that as the option now. I think they're too late in the game to replace him outright, so something will happen or he'll be forced to "bow out gracefully" at the last minute as part of the new plan.

I think they'll carefully pick his VP knowing that person will be president if he wins, and maybe even his last minute replacement if he bows out before the election. I don't think it was planned that way from the start, but Biden CANNOT be passed off as competent like they expected.

They are going to nominate Michelle Obama at the DNConvention. Why do you think Biden has said he is not going to the convention? Biden is just doing what he is told to do. They are avoiding Michelle having to debate Trump because she can't do it.

I’ve been predicting for over a year that sHitlary is maneuvering behind the scenes to steal this nomination. I’m sticking to my prediction.

1) Hide him as much as possible.

2) Trash Trump.24/7, with continual help from the media.

3) Make 2020 a referendum on President Trump, and push every possible false narrative (race, virus, economic downturn, etc.).
