Yes. I agree.

We need a proper time of national mourning. Trump should announce at 3:00 a.m. Monday via #twitter. If you are going to roll, roll big!

Well let’s hear it. Tell me how great it is to champion supporting the killing of babies. I’ll wait.

I dont revel in anyones death. Eternity is final. However I await your response.

McSally already said she would vote to fill the seat. Said it was important that we do so.

Collins would have no choice but to vote to fill or lose her seat.

Murkowski and Romney would not vote "no" they would abstain.

A new justice will be approved. You should accept that fact.

And Joe Manchin will continue to be a complete fig that the state of West Virginia somehow saddled us all with

My guess is he throws in a no vote. As in not voting not a no.

You got that right. RBG’s brand of judicial activism created the poisoned political environment that increasingly dominates much of our lives.

Again, I wish nothing but peace for RBG’s family and friends. Yet you can’t condemn our nation’s divisive political environment and at the same time idolize RBG’s life.

Rosh Hashanah is a two day event that begins at sundown tonight (September 18) and continues through nightfall on September 20.

I'm thinking Tuesday morning.

So you couldn't put aside your partisanship for a minute and acknowledge her career over dinner with a friend?

That's a little long to wait. I agree with the previous poster, it should be Monday.

Of course I acknowledged her career. But the impact of her death has nothing to do with her career. If Trump doesn’t nominate someone- there will be worse unrest than if he does; but her death, either way, is a major crisis. I’m legit scared for us as a country right now. We need 9 justices.

If the Dems think they can delay a vote by delaying RBG’s funeral they will stretch this out as long as they can. I agree with making an announcement first thing Monday Morning that way they are forced into attack mode possibly earlier than they wanted or expected.

If Trump really wanted to take this to another level he could call a press conference and make his announcement the same time that the media is airing RBG’s funeral.

Ugh. That would be a little gross.

However, announcing it on Monday while giving the Democrats the weekend to freakout would be a good take.

So far. He has set the right tone.
