So I’m sitting at a bar in Anaheim, CA

Just sipping on a beer and listening to conversations across the bar. Discussions included border security, gun control, Trump, etc. The kicker is they were all very pro conservative conversations. Am I sitting in the last bastion of conservatism in CA?

Not really. The democrats cleaned up in the US house elections in Orange County in 2018.

CA is pretty conservative outside of the larger metro areas. I was surprised to learn that to when I first moved there. Some rednecks in Cali that would be Louisiana Baws if their geography changed.

I get there for work semi regularly. And yes, Orange County is pro-business and pro-conservative.
However, ballot harvesting in 2018 SEVERLY reduced republican representation there. The dems basically stole a half dozen or more congressional/other elections using it.
What bar are you at, btw? Are you visiting or working or what?
