So do DEMS not realize Trump is going to spin this EO to make them look bad?

They had a chance to get something done and failed. Trump is going to sign an EO to get it done. Do they think Trump will forget or fail to mention this little fact?

I was just thinking the same thing. How is the a win for Dems and not Trump. He is stepping and fixing the crisis they’ve been screaming about because they were unwilling. He’s doing what previous Presidents have refused to do...again

He'll probably do a temporary suspension and challenge congress to put a bill on his desk. He'll use the time to reframe the narrative as America watches dems walk away from the issue for the third time.

A cursory knowledge of congressional processes is helpful here. the democrats can do nothing but talk, as they don't have majorities in either house.
Of course, this won't stop trump, his rabid fan base, or fox news from saying this. It is readily apparent from this board, much of his base has no idea how congress works.
Furthermore, only trumplicans could spin implementing a policy and then backing off of it within a few months due to public pressure as #winning.

Not exactly. Obama never really enforced it that much. Only in certain circumstances. He certainly didn’t have a zero tolerance policy
Is it your position that nothing whatsoever has changed since trump took office in regards to this issue? Are you arguing that Obama’s was cracking down on border security or that trump is not?
