It’s a testament to his incredible bravery and character that he was able to overcome the personal tragedy of someone telling him that his garage door had a garage door pull like all the other garage door pulls.
Most drivers wouldn’t be able to ever race again after going through something like that.

This literally happened to Chris Buescher three years ago and nobody gave him shite.
Chase Elliott won a rain shortened road course race at COTA which was a shitshow and nobody gave him shite.
This happens almost every year in NASCAR. Wallace got the lead right as Bowman wrecked which caused the caution. Otherwise Logano probably wins due to rain. So blame Alex Bowman for Bubba's win. Also Bubba's from Bama so it was a home win for him

Was Buescher on the pre race advertising along with 3 champions for over a year before he won a race?
Elliot has won a lot of races. 7 or 8 on roadies alone. A rain win at COTA doesn't define his career.
Bubba is a field filler and will remain so. I'm sure the promotions won't reflect that however.

He catches too much flak for the fake noose incident. He never saw the noose but was told by Nascar it was there and they were investigating. It was not a story he made up and it was not a Smollett moment. Nascar focked that up
