So are we more or less likely to have an EMP under Biden?

There was a lot of chatter last year from DHS regarding a possible if not likely EMP attack from China. I think they are clearly ahead of us in capability and more equipped to go on the offensive that we are. Putting vulnerability aside, given Trump's stance with China vs Biden's 1099 in the mail from Beijing, are we more or less likely to be attacked via EMP? The EO regarding our electrical power grid allowing foreign entities to sale us major components to our grid is troubling to say the least.

Meh. China would EMP us, frying the grid and all of our expensive personal devices. Fraudulent Biden would blame Russia for the EMP and then use our tax dollars to buy shitty made in China replacement shite for all of us, shite that is loaded with spyware and design flaws that can be manually triggered.

Notice Fraudulent Biden rescinded an order that said we couldn't use chinese made technology in US power grids?

The board is set.

I could see a scenario where it happens. Maybe why DC is so locked down. Once it happens China steps up to get everything back going as an ally and essentially becomes the shadow govt and lien holder of the US

So you don't understand the magnitude of a true EMP. I think you are talking isolated cyber attacks; not a true EMP attack.

We would almost certainly do it to ourselves in a false flag attack. So I’d say more likely.

Will I have to get a new amp if there is an EMP? Will it be ok if not plugged in? Will passive electronics be ok?

I need to know this stuff. How can I protect my gear?

Wasn’t the deep states plan to set off a Nuclear Bomb in the heartland if Hillary had won? Seems like the timing should be soon. Supposedly, they skimmed Uranium, on the Clinton sale of Uranium to Russia, so when the bomb went off, they could trace its signature back to Russia.....

Is your car "plugged in"? Anything electronic is toast. I was researching battery operated electronic gun safes. Toast!

They’d be insane to pulse the homeland. That’d be an event that would result in immediate heavy response due to the magnitude of the damage. If they ever hit us like that, it’d be directed at military in the Pacific.

That's what I keep thinking but who knows with crazy folk. 1) they need food from here and 2) their economy only survives by WalMart and Amazon purchases coming from American people using their computers.

What about a bass with passive pickups? No battery, but the pickups send sound to the amp via the magnetic poles in the pickups.

I don’t want to lose my basses.

Having read a few posts, I suspect that no many have read "One Second After" (and EMP Novel).

China or anybody can just walk in and take up shop after an all out EMP attack. About 10% of the population would survive. The rest would "lie as dung upon the Earth".

I don’t think China will mess with us . They own our president and a EMP would make the country go crazy.

Well, you will likely be dead but you probably ought to switch to acoustical just in case.

I’m not sure what’s more likely regarding EMP attacks/events but it’s crazy the green movement proponents are not concerned with hardening the power grid and massively increasing the capacity before they place hundreds of gigawatts of additional load on the grid.

an emp attack would be a declaration of war and immediate economic cratering of china. this is not happening, not under trump, not under biden, not for the next decade. not until china fully moves on from their crappy cheap manufacturing economy.
