Do you think Mittens, Murkowski, etc truly believe they are Republicans or do you think they only claim to be for election reasons?

And, there are others. One is Cassidy. They only vote with Dems when needed. Cassidy was allowed to vote with Republicans on this one so that he wouldn't ruin his bid to be Governor. But, make no mistake, he's a Democrat.

If it wasn't them they would have found a few other repubs to pull the lever. Cassidy or someone else. The US doesn't have shot long term. Is what it is.

They are true Republicans in the sense that the way the word was used 10 years ago. They do not fit in today's Trumpian and Qanon Republican party
