Nah he’s not getting awarded anything but a jail cell, and he’s about to blow all of his net worth on this high powered lawyer trying to stay out of that.

Should faking a hate crime be considered a hate crime in andnof itself? It’s trying to frame a different race for something that didn’t happen so to me that seems to fit the bill.

Faking hate crimes or rape is incredibly damaging to getting actual justice when real crimes occur.. I think all of my peers (a fairly liberal bunch) would agree with me.

For sure.

I think the tidal wave of the #meToo movement followed a same vein.

A whole bunch of allegations, many that are suspicious at best (not referring to any specifics), desensitizes everybody to true victims and makes it tougher for them to come forward and have the voice they should.
