Nobody is ragging on someone who is legitimately poor or fallen on hard times and is actually trying to work to improve their situation, but needs a little help to make ends meet.

I guess because I'm aware of what social media is, I know that it's mostly posts designed to manipulate viewers in order to garner engagement.
