My son was in a work partnership training in auto tech classes he took in his junior and senior years. He's in college now, studying mechanical engineering and aerodynamics and involved in an F1 program. But while in HS he was being paid $20 an hour by a dealership to work in service and he would go to school until 12:30 and then work at the dealer until 6:00, getting in 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. That worked out to $500 a week, so he was making somewhere around $2200 a month during school.

You told me a few days ago that only black people were poor and not by choice, but rather systemic racism, so they need Medicaid and welfare.

Why are these people poor and need welfare? They both seem well enough to laugh about gaming the system and make videos about it on social media with their taxpayer-funded phones.

What is a more appropriate response? He started an identical thread yesterday or the day before. The pattern is he looks for videos about someone being poor or collecting benefits who he deems unworthy and starts a thread about it.

I am sincerely sorry that today's version of this thread didn't elicit the intellectual resposnes you are looking for.
