No. The simplest reason is that FBI is full of people like him and leadership sees no great problem worth termination.

So your theory is that a career FBI agent (20 years or so in counter intelligence) was demoted from a senior position to shuffling papers in HR and he decided that was cool, good stepping stone, may as well stick around?

I think they are keeping him around so they can have access to him, but I don't think anything has been put in motion yet (regarding a criminal investigation) which would compel him to sing.

As Judge Jenine said last night, WHO is he going to flip TO? There's no one investigating anything pertaining to the FBI. The OIG has no authority to prosecute and Mueller has proven he has no interest in investigating the shenanigans that took place there.
