The inability for high profile folks to completely ignore the facts of controversial cases and the need to stick their opinion out there is mind boggling. I'm on an internet message board where I remain somewhat anonymous so I say just about anything I want to but I'm also not high profile. If I was, my mouth would be shut.

When I worked for the State (not Ohio) I would have been fired for making such a statement using official letterhead and all. Letter to the editor as a private citizen would have been OK but not as an official of the organization for whom I worked.
