Should Trump appoint Bobby Jindal as Coronavirus czar?

In the most nonpartisan way I can say it, in my opinion the Trump administration’s handling of the Coronavirus situation has not been overly impressive to this point. I think there is a distinct possibility that whoever wins the democratic nomination could really hammer Trump on this issue, especially with the Coronavirus outbreak potentially peaking around election time.
Love him or hate him, most people would agree that Jindal’s ability to handle natural disasters (think Hurricane Gustav) was outstanding and unparalleled. Jindal’s biggest strength (some might say his only strength) was that in a natural disaster, he displayed a masterful grasp of even the most minute facts, and gave off an overall aura that he was calm, collected, and most importantly had everything completely under control.
Also, before he was governor Jindal was the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and he has a degree in biology, so at least as far as government bureaucrats go he is more than qualified to head up the Coronavirus response.
If Trump were to appoint Jindal as Coronavirus czar, I think Jindal would do a great job of handling it and he could really make it look like the Trump administration has the situation completely under control. He could turn the Coronavirus situation from a political negative for Trump into a political positive.
Thoughts? Agree or disagree?
*Note — I’ve done the best I can to hide any political leanings I may have in the hopes of getting responses that are as honest and unbiased as possible

There's a reason why Bobby Jindal hasn't gotten any calls for jobs in the Trump Admin for anything from a cabinet post to paper pusher in a random alphabet soup agency.
Jindal is a disgraced pariah that's responsible for a democrat being his successor in red state Louisiana's Governor's mansion.
Jindal is in his hole in the ground right now and he's serving a life sentence there.
And good riddance to him.

Specifics? What is it he has done or failed to do that has not impressed you? What more do you think can be done while science races to find a vaccine/cure?

Wut?
The Dems have done everything to ensure he can't win no matter how he handles the virus. Early on they called him racist for restricting travel too early and now they are saying he isn't doing enough.
Quit buying the bullshite.
Schumer even deleted tweets he made from a month ago just so he could flip flop on the issue to accuse Trump.
You want him to handle the virus? Then let him finish the wall and hand out even more travel restrictions. If not, then don't bitch when American's catch it.

Even has been losers like Scott Angelle and John Fleming have jobs in the Trump Admin.
It wasn't enough that Jindal betrayed and abandoned Louisiana, he had to do everything he could to make sure a democrat was his successor because he couldn't get past his stupid feud with David Vitter.
frick off Jindal.

I'd like to see Jindal resuscitated politically
No one remembers Clinton gave a boring speech at the Dem convention in '88 and was pronounced dead in nat'l politics. His H'wood handlers The Thomasons swung into action and got him on the Tonight Show to make self-deprecating jokes and stop the bleeding. He ended up with more gained than lost.
Jindal gave a dull speech and was DOA from that moment on.

You mean the storm that occured after Katrina (you know, the storm that forced a re-evaluation of all things storm related)?
That would be like giving credit to Joe Biden for not being Bernie Sanders. Can you set the bar any lower?

Why on God's green Earth do you think Jindal deserves a political comeback?
The man was not a good steward for conservatives in Louisiana and didn't give one shite about their electoral success after he won reelection and did everything to ensure Vitter lost even if it meant a democrat won and then promptly raise all of our taxes and chase jobs out of the state.

That's not why Jindal left office in disgrace as a historically unpopular Governor.
I know for a fact that the LA GOP has his portrait at their HQ all the way back in the back of the building where the general public can't see it.

bullshite
These other countries have hundreds if not thousands of cases and the US is still counting them 1 by 1.
This is some kind of troll, 23 posts, probably an alter.

You do realize that he's only the POTUS and not the World King, correct?
Please give us details on what he could do better. Also, please tell us how many people have died from the common flu compared to corona.
