This has definitely not been my experience. I went to a fully legal dispensary recently and was floored by how expensive everything was. They had some cool stuff like weed-infused Gatorade, cereal, olive oil, stuff like that, but at the end of the day I just want to get high, not go on a gourmet hemp cooking spree. I’ll continue using the black market, because it’s the exact same quality at half the price. Sometimes even less.

Edibles are pretty cheap from what I've seen. A SD dispensary also threw in a pre-rolled joint with my purchase for $1.

A dispensary isn’t necessary to buy weed in states like Oregon.

It’s like comparing the prices of a bottle at a club to a liquor store.

I clearly stated exactly what I meant

I've never seen a "conservative" call for overly taxing legal weed, and if they have, they're dumb

Your post was just a non sequitur

I think we pretty much agree, I just don't know why "fat conservatives" are to blame for Cali's bloated beuracracy

State-wide revenue from cannabis taxes in 2018—the industry’s first year under full legalization—met only 30 percent of projections set by the state. California projected $1 billion in tax revenue, but at the end of 2018 had seen only $345 million, according to the Orange County Register.

Leftists still haven't learned that high taxes reduces revenue. What it does do is inhibit growth along with changing people's spending and investing habits. It's not like California hasn't loss businesses to other states with lower taxes for years now. What's going to happen is the very largest businesses may stay as they can more absorb regulations versus medium and smaller businesses effectively killing off startups. Those smaller entities will go looking for greener pastures in the not too distant future.

I see what you did there.

What's the status of legalization in Arizona, does anyone know?

You do realize that the taxes and regulations killing the industry in California are from liberals, not conservatives?

Everyone in here is just laughing at your retarded arse. You know those dumb fricks that go into a basketball thread and complain about Obama?

That is you in this thread.

Quit digging and bow out

California is a shite show for sure and I certainly don't know much about agribusiness, but isn't $100,000 off 1000lbs $100 a pound? Do farmers usually make $100 per pound on anything?

You need to reread.

This is sad.

If you are suggesting this is the case in CA, then you couldn't be more wrong. There are actually MORE illegal stores in CA now than there were in legalization went into effect on Jan 1. We own LEGAL dispensary/distro/manufacturing ops in CA, and we are getting destroyed by the black market. Taxes on legal market puts us at huge disadvantage.

Who could’ve ever predicted it.

I guess the gangs have left California with legal pot, though. Right?

What are illegal stores? And why aren’t the police busting them?
