The other thread on SJW got me thinking about this. I’ve known personally, I think about four or five of them. One was iffy.
We had a neighbor across the street two doors down that was a total whack job SJW.
She is a lawyer of what kind I don’t remember. She was always on her front porch screaming at somebody on her phone. I used to tell my wife, “Katherine’s at it again.”
I was fascinated by this complete reclusive screaming psycho.
Before I finally got the nerve to go meet her I asked our postman if he knew who,that was that lived over there. You should have seen the look on his face. He said he didn’t know who she was but there was something clearly wrong over there. Sometimes she would let her mail sit in her mailbox for weeks at a time before getting it.
Then she would complain and scream at the electric company when they cut her electricity because she hadn’t paid her bill.
Finally went over and met her and we actually talked a few times. Two or three times were enough. A complete and total loon!
She said the Republican Party was worse than the Nazi Party. I said I was pretty sure the Republicans don’t have extermination camps. She replied that Hitler didn’t have camps either when he started out.
That’s just one of many many examples. I finally had to stop going over. It was too much.
She was a miserable totally humorless human being and was completely estranged from her entire family. She even told me her sister once asked her what happened to her.
Of course they were the ones that were nuts, not her.
The other SJW’s I knew were almost along the same lines. They had one thing in common. Their families wanted nothing to do with them. Obviously these people are mentally disturbed but I’m wondering why that is? I think they should be studied because there is something clearly wrong with them. They literally suck the joy out of any situation they are involved in. These are the most bitter intolerant human beings I have ever encountered. I guess they should be pitied.

They're no different than religious fundamentalists. Their zealotry doesn't let up and it doesn't allow for one to have fun. It has to be exhausting to be that angry and miserable.

Not to sound douchey with a frat story, but this is the best example I have
The fraternity I was in in college had a guy who was a legal US citizen, born and raised in MS, but his grandparents were from Guatemala.
We had an “All Sig Day” spring party that was American themed. We hung a huge American flag behind the band, we did that every year and have since the fraternity was started.
The week before the party the kid from started bitching that the American flag was offensive and didn’t include him. He requested a Guatemalan flag to be hung by the American flag. We said no, and he said he was gonna go to the head of fraternities at the university
I told him to go right ahead, and the head of IFC told me to handle it internally.
Met with the kid the next day and told him that after he paid off his more than $2,000 in dues that he had not paid (more than 2 semesters overdue) he was welcome to drop the fraternity.
He paid it off and stuck around

The one I used to work with would throw the most over emotional temper tantrums at work. Like flying off the rails over the smallest insignificant things and causing a scene. Everyone was embarrassed for him. And it’s not like he was young at the time (mid 30s). To this day he’s a miserable person with terminal TDS. Everything he reads on Slate or Salon is gospel
On Facebook Floyd is his hero and not a word about Cannon. He’s Asian married to a white girl and of course lives in the most lilly white suburb of ATL

I stood in the wedding of an SJW. She stopped speaking to me after I told her I was going to vote for Trump.

I live in Athens and they’re everywhere. They’ve even taken over the county commission. They’re miserable people who overwhelm me with their drama. Everything is a battle that has no final objective. It’s all a means to another mean.

In a lot of ways I think you are correct. And like religious fundamentalist that turn away from religion and become hardcore atheist...most SJWs I know that become conservative go hardcore conservative as well. Its just in some peoples DNA to not think have nuanced thoughts and become consumed with absolutes.
That being said I dont know any religious fundamentalist that are condoning looting and rioting....at least not currently in our country but I think the same mind set could and has justified all kinds of atrocities.

A decade ago I knew 2 members of anonymous (hackers) that took their stuff very seriously. They were not a lot of fun.
Currently my niece is married to an antifa in the Atlanta area. He is smart enough to not be on the front line (my niece has been a couple of times) but insists on taking their kids to stuff. He would make a great cell leader for them but is not ready to take the step. My niece has gone full blown confrontational Karen and refuses to speak to me. The husband is about discussion until given a different interpretation of the nonsense he spouts.
My favorite Radom SJW experience was a group protesting a firearms range in Georgia I worked at for a while. The county built a school across the street and this group would call the cops every time anyone walked outside with a firearm. One time I was coming back from lunch and the local sheriff get a angry white male with firearms call. I was the only white guy at the range and the blacks that was awesome and gave me shite for days.

The only black friend I have who is really "woke" (constantly posting about Breonna Taylor and how cops are wife beaters) was adopted and raised by a white couple and always had mostly white friends. It's a way of overcompensating or just being influenced by whiny white libs I guess. Reminds me of Jordan Peele and Kaepernick who are both half white and raised by ypipo

I have a SJW step sister who's favorite hobby is to virtue signal on Facebook. Her primary target is to rail against the capitalist system which she says doesn't work for women and minorities.
The reason she has time to virtue signal for a living is that she is a trust fund baby. Her money is all wrapped up in the system she claims to hate.
Her Jewish grandfather made millions in the 40s through 60s by running a sweat shop garment factory in New Orleans East. Employing immigrants and black women in atrocious conditions, and paying minimum wage.
I have many times suggested that she could do the right thing and give the millions that she didn't earn back to the hard working families of Da East who her grandfather ruthlessly exploited.
Somehow that idea isn't catching on with her.
