Serious question: Why is voter ID racists and suppressive?

Why? The lower one's income, the more likely it becomes (statistically) that one will not possess a government-issued ID. Like it or not, Blacks are found in the lowest economic strata in numbers far-disproportionate to the general populace. This is not an attack upon intelligence or morals or anything else. It is simply an objective fact.
So, statistically, Blacks will be proportionately more likely than Whites/Asians to lack a government-issued ID, meaning that proportionately-more Blacks than Whites will have difficulty voting, if they attempt to do so.
Personally, I don't care. No matter how poor, almost anyone CAN get an ID if they take a bit of time to educate themselves and if they put forth a bit of effort. NOT having an ID is indicative of a lack of motivation, and I don't particularly WANT lazy people voting.
