Serious question, why didn't Honest Bob discover the campaign mole?

He's supposedly assembled this grade A top team of investigators and all they can uncover is 2 liars, a tax cheat and 13 Russian bots that's didn't exist at the time of the crimes they supposedly committed.
Then, when challenged by said bots, turns out that Benedict Bob and his merry band to frickery artists didn't even translate the fricking documents they illegally confiscated.
You had a sitting president actively directing an opposing party's candidate to be infiltrated in an attempt to subvert an open and free election that they lost despite unprecedented efforts to rig the outcome.

I am not sure what is surprising. Are you saying you don't think Mueller knows all about Halper? He does, and probably has for a year.

I'm lost here. You're saying there was a mole working in Trump's campaign, for the FBI/CIA/Obama - the people you call the deep state. And Mueller gets appointed, which you think is a deep state plot. But officially this mole reported to whichever deep state agency, and before Mueller was brought in there were ongoing investigations into the likes of Flynn, Manafort etc - presumably with evidence gathered from this mole.
Any of those reports that pertained either A) to russia, or B) to crimes committed by those associated with the Trump Russia scandal would've been turned over to Mueller at the start of his investigation.
So the question is why Mueller didn't discover what he already knew?
