Who here thinks they have the votes to convict in the senate? Need 67 to convict. I see 7 republicans for sure voting to convict.

I don’t think they’d carry out this insanity without having whipped the votes already.

I don’t know, getting to 17 will be tough. Doable I guess but it’s career suicide.

NOT going to happen.

Mitch said would have to be after the 20th/ Biden swearing in. You cannot impeach if no longer president.

This is ALL for show in the house.

Will not matter, Trump will be an ordinary citizen by the time it would come to a vote, thus they have no standing.

Well, you know Mitt and the shite, aka Bill Cassidy, will vote to remove. Collins and Murkowski are most likely "yes" votes, perhaps Burr. Who else?

If they’re short they’ll just make them up at 4 am.

Mitch said takes unanimous vote of the entire Senate to bring it back before 1/20.

Good luck getting an impeachment vote while Trump is still in office!

They are voting for impeachment of someone who is gone....or voting to sustain the swamp lifestyle they enjoy the kickbacks from....

They'll get all the votes they need.

There will be many more. We need to start a list of every Rhino that needs to get voted out. It needs to be an ongoing list that we can bump every so often to remind people of who they are the next time they are up for re-election. The first two are definitely

Louisiana
Bill Cassidy

He will be gone. There is no point. Just don't show or vote 'present' like Obama used to do.
