'The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday postponed a vote on President Donald Trump’s attorney general nominee, William Barr, as Democrats expressed concern that he might not make public a final report on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.'

'Barr has said he might not share all of details of Mueller’s inquiry with the public, citing Justice Department regulations that encourage prosecutors not to criticize people who they do not end up charging with criminal behavior.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the committee, said she needed to know more about how Barr will handle the report. '

Dianne, trying so very hard to stay relevant! Obstructionists as usual, with nothing positive to contribute.

I heard Barr went to a party in HS and tried to look up a girl's dress.

Mueller will drop something before confirmation vote in an attempt to delay. Take it to the bank

Feinstein gave up all credibility in the Kavanaugh hearings!
How the hell is this BS not just put to a vote?

In other words, they expect Mueller to do like Comey did with Hillary and list all the crimes Trump might be guilty of but not charge him with anything. They just want to use the Mueller report to smear Trump in 2020.

Barr played the devil's triangle in 1983.

neither and both really, I'm just salty because I am so frustrated with everything we see going on

The whole investigation looks like a farce, and now we see a competent AG being held up because there is fear he won't play ball

Republicans need to force the vote

The fact the GOP is letting them get away with it proves we don't exactly have a two party system.

What I find interesting/frustrating is that Senate Republicans are at least on the surface attempting to listen to their Democratic counterparts and give them the benefit of the doubt. If the Democrats were in power, (see Harry Reid), they would just say FU to the Republicans, not care about "optics" and push forward with whatever legislation they wanted to and ram it down the throats of Republicans as was done during Reid's tenure as Majority Leader.

Why go through this BS, either you really are a uniparty, or just man up and get shite done...

OK. So no vote. Graham merely caved to Feinstein. Makes perfect sense.

Democrats are a bigger threat to democracy than Russia. Change my mind.
