some, probably a good many, are tired of him and are glad he's stepping down ... he's another big government pub, like most ...

Ah, the old "high moral ground" vote. "I won't have to answer for my vote" vote.

He is an establishment piece of shite that has been there for over 30 years. Alabama is the most politically corrupt state in the country by far.

He's what's wrong with DC.

I didn't vote for him in the last election. If that election were to be held today he'd be in trouble as more and more voters are waking up to the frickery in DC.

You just delivered a ringing endorsement for Doug Jones! Time to get the dirty GOP out of Alabama, and out of Washington

he is a piece of shite

the fact that he is still in office is as much, or more really, of a testament to the poor choices that Alabamians make at the polls that even Roy Moore himself...

Why do I feel this way?

The BIGGEST issue I have with him is that he bears an extraordinary amount of responsibility for the shape of SCOTUS - IE - we have had to deal Ruth Bader Ginsburg instead of getting Robert Bork (who would have been as good as Gorsich is now)

when the political winds changed; he switched parties

The man does not act on principle; but rather on expediency

Alabama is a cess pool especially at the state level. We need Christians in there like Roy Moore who will clean it up and improve our image.

At least Louisiana had the moral discretionary fibre required to select Jon Bel over that disgusting creep Vitter. Alabama is more morally bereft, IMHO.
