Sen. Kennedy Lights up Biden Energy Official With Question We'd All Like an Answer to on Climate Agenda

Kennedy was questioning Biden Deputy Energy Secretary David Turk. He was asking the questions that you should ask about budgeting, spending, and the Biden team’s nonsensical climate agenda.

“If we spend $50 trillion to become carbon neutral in the United States by 2050,” Kennedy asked, “Give me your estimate of how much that is going to reduce world temperatures.” Great question — what are we going to get if the Biden team spends all of that money from us, the American taxpayers, this way? What’s going to be the result?

Turk, of course, couldn’t answer the question. He looks like it never even occurred to him that that should be a question to which he should have an answer. But that’s the problem of the Biden administration, and the Democrats, right there. Because ultimately, that’s not how they think, and I don’t think they care. I think it’s about the money and the control the regulations give them. The “crisis” is secondary. They think the money is never ending—and they never have to justify what they’re doing with it.

Foghorn was never my favorite LA politician before he made the Senate but I’m liking him now.

The troll is strong with him.

Without a doubt. They should be kicked out of office for being a child.

What people need to understand is that the human race consumes. There's nothing that can be done about that. If people DON'T like it, they should be all for building up our various space travel initiatives. The resources on a planet are finite and will be mined until we don't have them and we need to find another planet.

Most likely, our hilarious and comically bad coordination with eachother for world domination WILL be the thing that destroys our race and prevents us from colonizing into space.

its all about having a 'message' for some non-articulatbale 'objective' to fuel their campaign by blasting the allegations that the dastardly Republicans are AGAISNT 'whatever message' they are promoting.

And of course the media treats any 'message' from the DNC as established scientific FACT and that only 'flat earthers' could possibly oppose it.

Either flat earthers or 'racists' => racists are always open season.

In this show call Congress Committees, Kennedy is one of my favorite characters. I believe Jim Jordan is the lead actor and he is not so bad either.

especially if they totally ignore the only viable solution to their suppose problem = nuclear.

Until they fully embrace using nuclear energy for all our energy requirements I feel totally justified in calling them liars about 'climate change'

Great question but poor tactic in that he's mimicking the GOP by not following-up and pressing the issue.
No response from dems is typical and safe since they are never pressed to answer the hard question.

Climate Change - Global Warming is a population control gimmick.

Just another scheme cooked up by the loonytoons to exert control over peoples lives. Just like Covid-19.

So we need to “trust the science”… but the science cannot determine how much it would help?

It’s definitely been put out what they claim will happen if we don’t…. But they cannot tell us what if we do?

How surprising. The point is we will never get any decrease and they know it. The fear mongering is just a ploy for distribution of money. Just like how all the climate activists expel considerable amounts of CO2 than normal people. That’s how concerned they are.

And the drones lap it up like thirsty dogs.

I agree.

I wouldn’t call it trolling.

Since he’s in the minority party of the Senate, and since there is no supermajority in either house of Congress, there’s very little he can do to utilize power to affect any policy or control.

Too many people on the right are overly critical of the R party for not “doing more”. Or they’ll say about these committee hearings, “ psssh, they’re all talk but won’t actually do anything.”

Most of what these committee hearings do for the minority party is to expose the bs. In order to do so, you have to be a master orator and skilled linguist. You have to frame questions that force an uncomfortable answer or a revealing non-answer.

John Kennedy is excellent at this. Possibly the best I’ve ever seen.

Don’t let the Foghorn accent fool you. Perhaps he slathers it on extra thick to disarm the person being questioned into thinking he’s a simpleton, but It’s not a bad tactic if it’s indeed a tactic and not authentic.

It is a cousin of trolling, probably closer to shitposting on here.

He’s pretty much asking them questions they can’t answer either because they don’t know or can’t admit the truth if they do know.

Those screaming about the “climate change crisis” always seem to have suggestions on what we need to do, but they never seem to explain how the actions that they suggest we take will actually save the world.
