Months ago I made a thread here asking if people were favorable of having police robots akin to RoboCop. Today we have a robot that's the first step in that direction. BEAUTIFUL!

I'm planning a short vaca trip to SF soon. Which venues or parts of town are best for me to engage in some public defecation?

I just heard on the radio that the robot has been fired.

There were too many complaints about deadbeat humans being driven away by an employed machine.

I'm not kidding....

In its first month patrolling San Francisco’s Mission District, K-9, a 5-ft. tall, 400-lb. autonomous security robot, despite suffering abuse and seeming to contribute to a crime reduction in the area, was pulled off duty for allegations of targeting the homeless....

It was when reports of the bullet-shaped robot’s tendency to target San Francisco’s homeless population began to explode across social media that the president of SPCA announced the security robot pilot program was suspended effective immediately.

I spent time in L.A. in 2013 and 2014, and there were parts of that town overrun by the homeless.

There was a big camp of them right in front of Union Station. One morning I stepped around one sleeping in front of the fed court.

The weather there is ideal for people who live outdoors. No freezes, doesn’t get too hot, rarely rains.

Welfare works the same way. Give people welfare and they'll have kids who grow up wanting and expecting welfare, while their parents are still on welfare.

I know a woman here in Lexington whose good-for-nothing brother went to SF for just that reason. His family decided to employ tough love to force him to take care of himself, he's in his thirties, and stopped giving him money, food and shelter.

He headed out west after trying nearby states. I'll bet he didn't expect so much competition ou there, though.

The hobos should be made to scoop up their poop and carry it around in bags like people have to do with their dogs. I guess they think their shite don't stink.
Snooty, arrogant bunch of elitists.

How about arming some and letting them loose in Chicago.

Oh wait a damn second. The elites want a world of AI. Nah, let them just do each other in.
