Having felt the effects of both, I'd pick tear gas 10 out of 10 times over pepper spray.

I agree. Pepper spray was infinitely worse because it lasted for days.

“After hearing concerns about the use of CS gas for crowd control purposes earlier this week ... we decided we were going to suspend its use for 30 days,” Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said.
Maybe the police can help the looters break stuff too.

In Seattle suspects do NOT get their Miranda Warning.

What they get is a Laranda Warning:
1) You have the Right to do whatever you like.
2) Rioting is allowed wherever, whenever you'd like.
3) If anyone offends you can hit, kick, punch, beat with a stick, throw concrete, or just whine and annoy them.
4) Dinner is at 8pm, or whenever you would prefer

All of the cops should go on strike and let them see what happens when there is no cops.

would go there a few times a month to walk Pike Street market and the waterfront.

Visited there for the first time last year. Gorgeous area, but man the people really affect my perception of the place.

“Well, Ms. Jones, usually we would have tear gassed your son and subdued him, but since we had that less lethal option taken away from us, we just shot the piss out of your little Jimmy.”
