Needs to stop. You want to help keep people alive in school shootings? Arm every teacher. Lets see them try to shoot a school after that.

cant mandate it and public will never support it. They would much more quickly support a weapons ban - look at the news.

the problem is too many guns. you dont solve that with more guns. you want fewer gun crimes, have fewer guns. until your own board with that, expect more of the same.

It's like this...
1. Crack is illegal and yet criminals get their hands on it.
2. Counterfeiting is illegal, yet criminals do it
3. Robbing a store is illegal, yet criminals do it
So what makes you think that a law banning guns will stop criminals from using them? If you want to curb this we need to do a better job of flagging kids with mental health issues and trying to make it easier to get them help instead of taking the guns away from us good guys.

If you're suggesting the Feds do nothing, youre being ignorant. Pressure is mounting for something to be done at the federal level.

No, it's not.
Pressure is mounting in democrat strongholds. The same ones that pressure mounted during the mass shooting of the Obama administration in which nothing was also done.

Well let's revisit this thread when the Dems do something if the GOP won't. And I can promise whatever the Dems do will be a lot less gun friendly than what the GOP could do.
In fact, the resistance to do something might even swing voters this fall. Dems are already asking for it.

Arming teachers is truly the only way to really attempt to stop these killers seeing that our culture has become as such as it has.
Yes, many teachers I have seen cant handle a poodle better yet a gun. We will need a new breed of teachers. No one is relenting gun rights in certain areas of society without a fight. Period.

For starters it could play in the fall elections. And secondly, let's not act like there's never gonna be another Dem prezzie. There will. Sacrifice something small now, or risk they take something bigger later. . Think about it.
