they just did, and more, including this also allow a family to sue a restaurant or food manufacturer for death resulting from poor eating habits or overeating.
this ruling means a company is now libel for how customers choose to use their products.

This would be a bigger deal to me if the pharma companies weren't being held liable for the opiod crisis but they are. The precedent has already been set. Welcome to 2019 where everything is somebody else's fault.
