Schumer got CHIP funded for 6 more years and gave up nothing.
Sounds to me as if the Republicans felt more pressure to open the gov back up. Maybe they didn't think the Schumer Shutdown thing was selling so well.

LOL. CHIP was already in there. He could've had that on Friday. CHIP has been funded for nearly a decade and most are for it.

There are no REAL winners / losers on the shut down. Both parties got their markers in. Dems for the Dreamers, Reps for other border security. Since 75% of the Americans want a path to citizenship for Dreamers, and support border security, both parties scored. Three weeks from now is what counts now.
