A number of liberals weren’t happy with Senator Dianne Feinstein — the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee — for her approach to the Amy Coney Barrett hearings last week, culminating in a moment of praise and a hug she offered to Chairman Lindsey Graham.

Former Hillary Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon, executive director of the group Demand Justice, publicly called on Feinstein to step down from her position on the committee. NARAL put out a statement expressing similar sentiments.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was asked Tuesday about Feinstein being blasted by progressive groups.

Schumer vaguely said, “I’ve had a long and serious talk with Senator Feinstein, that’s all I’m going to say about it right now.”

Mansplaining of the year.

Or a euphemism.

No one is allowed to have an opinion if it doesn’t jive with the left. And as long as we keep allowing it to be this way it will only get worse.

Funny, just the other day a liberal buddy was going off on McCain and how the Rs hated on him for buddying up with Obama.

I need to show him this goes both ways apparently.

They’re also stripping her names off schools in San Francisco.

ETA: this isn’t a joke. It’s an actual proposal.

The Dems have an endless supply of pieces of shite Senate leaders, before Schumer was Harry Reid and before him was Tom Daschel.

Chinese spy on her staff for 20 years, not a problem.

Hugging a fellow Senator... BIG PROBLEM.

Sorta reminds me of when Gov. Christie hugged Obama after super storm Sandy. Sealed his fate with most conservatives.

Did he direct her in Mandarin? I am pretty sure that's the only language she responds to quickly.

This story, if true, is but one example as to why the nation is so divided right now. 35 years ago, when Reagan occupied the White House and Democrats controlled Congress, you would see compromise between the two parties. There would be knock-down, drag-out fights to be sure. But, at the end of the day, when everyone went home for the evening, many opponents on the floor of the House and Senate were friends after hours. I'm pretty sure I've read stories about where Reagan and Tip O'Neill would retire into the Oval Office to drink bourbon and smoke cigars. They were political rivals but also friends.

What did I miss with Feinstein's questions? Are they just mad that she said ACB was impressive and didn't say she was a skank bitch?

Her and Miss Lindsay hugged and probably scissored afterwards. Chuck is jelly.
