Shouldn't it be this way? Not that they are scared for their lives but that they are scared of the constituents they represent if they don't actually represent their interests and are instead there only to self serve?

If they are truly scared then I say good. Keep on pushing them.

If the impeachment was legitimate rather than Orange Man Bac, they’d have zero to worry about.

Congress is a den of thieves, enriching themselves at the expense of the citizenry. They didn't GAF when homes / small businesses were looted and burned, and when ordinary citizens were wounded and killed, all last summer.

let a few crazies into the shrine to themselves on January 6, and it's a national emergency.

Upvotes for all of you for saying it better than I could.

"scared for their lives" is the new trope they march out when it suits them. People on the wrong side who are scared for their lives are only getting their just desserts according to the left.

Like burning down cities for six months, invading the capitol building multiple times and calling one protest inside the building the most dangerous terroristic event in history.

They have been "scared for their lives" often lately but the only Congressman shot in recent memory was Republican by a deranged crazy liberal.

That was just silenced Bernie Bros. trying to express themselves through peaceful protest.

Democrat leaders probably threatening them to support it while getting threats the people who voted for them if they do...

there can only be one right decision ...

if it's hard to figure out, maybe they should be representing the United States

That would eliminate a lot of ethical dilemmas.

If they are truly scared then than they can resign and allow someone braver to replace them.

We need representation that will not cower in fear from anyone but stand up and do the right thing.

Of course doing the right thing interferes with their graft and corruption so they cower in fear and take the money while they call upon the military to protect them instead.
