On weekend update Michael Che said Israel vaccinated half their citizens I’m guessing the Jewish ones. This was very racist his black butt wouldn’t like anyone saying north Baton Rouge vaccinated their residents I’m guessing the black ones.

Its plunge from any form of actual humor fell rapidly after the 'blues brothers' left the cast. It soon devolved into 3rd-grade fart joke status. Have not given it a second thought in several decades. Excerpts I have seen are less than fart-joke status.

Wow, I thought it had gone off the air. The last time I watched, maybe 1981? TBS had "Night Tracks" (that I recorded) and I was dating Saturday nights.

SNL is the comedy propaganda arm of the DNC. I don't even know how the script writers write anything remotely funny anymore. Last thing I liked from them was The Californians.

I haven't watched in decades. But I do remember watching SNL to see what band was playing. I hadn't heard of this band before or any of their music. It was 1978. After the initial shock/horror of watching them, it really changed course of the type of music I started listening to. I was in the 9th grade and could not wait until Monday to see who else saw them. Remember there was no cell phones, computers back then, just one land-line at the house and CB radios. Disco music was big back then mixed in with 60-70s music. Then, this band showed up. Fred Willard introduced them. Look up SNL youtube and imagine yourself as a kid watching them play for the first time on TV completely different from anything out there at the time. The band was dEvO.
