Three more buses also arrived in New York City, as Texas continued to pressure sanctuary cities amid a surge of migrants crossing the southern border.
The D.C. bus carried people mostly from Venezuela, including a one-month-old baby. Aid workers quickly whisked the migrants away to a local shelter.
The transports come as the immigration issue has again rocketed to the forefront of national attention after planes carrying migrants arrived in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Harris has been tasked with dealing with the "root causes" of migration to the U.S.-Mexico border, which she said on Sunday was "secure."
That statement received heavy pushback from Border Patrol agents, who say it is "far from secure."

I hope Abbott doesn’t have any higher political aspirations than governor of a dumpster state. This isn’t going to end well for him.

Remember. Obama held a birthday party with HUNDREDS of people at his house during Covid. I’m sure he has room to take care of just ONE immigrant family.
Those 10,000+ square foot homes really do start to feel empty when it’s only 3-5 people in the house.

Why are you melting over the Governors sending them to NYC? In a blue state?
You know… a blue state that you NPCs say is soooo much better than red? Why are you against sending these illegals (who you support coming here) to a blue state (who you say is soo much better)? You are here on record calling it a dumpster state.
If you are sooo glad they are here… why are you against them having more opportunity in NYC than El Paso, TX?
