No. He won’t. He has a hard base of 25% of democrats. But after that he has nothing.

Once there is a one on one between him and one other Dem, he will lose. All the consolidated voters that make up the 75% will defeat him.

If not Biden then Buttigieg.

Sanders is what the Democratic Party has been building up to for years. He is this generation’s Mondale

Trump's reaction in that gif has always impressed me.

He's about to beat the shite out of somebody, all like, "frick secret service, I got this!"

They are one and the same. Both are vapid airheaded commies. AOC just better looking is the only difference

Did you not watch the 2016 GOP primaries?

As long as the moderates are split in 4-5 different candidates, Bernie will be in the drivers seat, like Trump was the whole way through.

It will be tough to pull off, if they somehow knock Bernie out of the race. If they do, then Bernie needs to drop out, due to health reasons or he needs to die. If someone else gets more votes, or they figure out a way to get to a brokered convention and give it to someone else, then Bernie's supporters are going to go crazy and may not back the Democrat in November.

I just find it funny that my progressive acquaintances are all but certain the President Trump is fixing the election, and yet the only people that seem to be fixing an election are the Democrats, who are screwing the progressive's preferred candidate...

I don't know that that's the case. And if so, I think Trump wins.

However, it is interesting. In 2016, the overlap of Trump and Sanders voters was pretty damned big - maybe up to 15%. It's possible/probable that that dynamic has changed now, but in 2016, they were essentially opposite sides of the same coin in terms of what they were tapping into viscerally with the electorate.
