San Francisco’s Patrick Thompson stabs 2 elderly Asian women, arrested by SFPD

Witnesses told KPIX-TV that a man clutching a knife was walking down Market Street when he approached a bus stop, stabbed the women, and then walked away.
54-year-old Patrick Thompson was arrested for the incident after a two-hour search, police told the Associated Press.
San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin said on Twitter that his office is "still receiving the case" but expects to announce charges against Thompson on Thursday.
Neither he nor other authories indicated whether the women were specifically targeted or whether the attack might be a hate crime.
The two women, who are 63 and 84, respectively, remained hospitalized Wednesday. The 84-year-old was initially treated for life-threatening injuries, but her medical status has been upgraded to non-life-threatening, police said.

FYI, the article linked "Who is Patrick Thompson?" tells us VERY little about him, other than he's a 54 year old man.

The media first got the name Patrick Thompson from the PD and had a “so you’re telling me there’s a chance” moment. Then the mug shot was emailed.

Are these just homeless people stabbing someone?
The number of attacks by homeless people in certain areas of California must be shockingly high.
Note some of these legit are straight hate crimes because there is animosity.
But I see many of these attacks, including one by someone the media said was a white supremacist who in reality was just a homeless white guy. He attacked them because lord knows why.
Anyways curious.
The media will not say that many of these attacks are from homeless people because of destroys their narrative that they are just poor souls who are not dangerous.

I'm willing to bet $100 Chesa Boudin (the DA) doesn't prosecute the Asian Hater.
