Russia willing to negotiate new Iran deal with Europeans
In light of GEOTUS leaving that flawed deal Barry put together, I think this is a notable headline.

So once again, Russia fills the void left by shrinking U.S. presence in the world, expanding Russia's influence and limiting ours.

It's as if Trump is working directly at the instruction of Russia's leadership.

Why is the Iran deal a "presence in the world", but sanctions on them are not?

The iran deal was NOT A GLOBAL AGREEMENT. It was a deal between 2 countries.

People still seem to be under the delusion that taking a really bad deal is better than having no deal.

The Iran deal without the US would be like Ringo touring as the Beatles.

Do you think Netanyahu works directly for the Kremlin too?

until he does something contrary to Russian interests, then your arse will disappear and not say a fricking word about it.

Keep focusing on what fits your narrative and put on blinders to what doesnt. Your a fricking tool

That was the premise and rationale used to pass obamacare.

Something, literally anything, is better than nothing.

Not always the case.

England and France aren't going to jump sides over to the Russians first and foremost. Germany--who the hell cares with Merkel in charge.

Russia making an offer, one that will likely go nowhere, was anticipated.

That's their MO.

Kinda like how Russia was going to hit us so hard in defense of Syria if we bombed them? Russia showed nothing but retreat and inaction.

Any influence they attempt to gain will be with countries who fully understand that Russia is all bark and no bite. The whole world just saw how Russia comes to the aid of its "allies".

And FTR, the Trump/Russia garbage is yesterday's lies. Since taking office, POTUS has done nothing but drag his sack across Russia's face, despite what CNN and MSNBC say. If that's how "friends" do one another, I'm glad I don't have many friends.

So you want us to dabble in everyone's business now? I can't keep up with your daily hysterics.

No, it was a deal involving 6 countries. It took 10 years of diplomacy to reach an agreement.

Could have sworn in Vlad was already past knee deep in Iran's affairs. By the way, don't look now but ME alliances are a shifting but am sure they are of little to no consequence.

I suppose that's one way to look at it.

It's the wrong way, but it is a way.

What, specifically, was shitty about it?

This is really interesting because I recall the Obama Administration said that they weren't involved in the drafting of the agreement and that the terms weren't publicly available to them. You do remember that don't you?

And what an agreement it was...

Iran gets $150 billion and a pinky swear about its nuclear program - with ambiguous inspection regime.

It was an agreement to say there was an agreement, so Europe could start trading with them again.
